Caldwell & Pate, Inc. is a small consulting firm located in Roswell, GA and has been in business for nineteen years. Madge Caldwell is the business consultant and her right hand person is Edna Martin.
Madge Caldwell has been dubbed “Magical Madge” by one of her clients, not because she is magical or has a magic wand, but because the results and performance level a person can achieve in a coaching relationship at times seems magical. Almost any winning athlete or team will attest to this exuberant feeling.
Madge has been coaching small business owners, professionals, individual producers, managers and teams for eighteen years. She teaches business management which includes sales, marketing, business and finance, employee management, client management, partnership communications and how to manage all of these areas appropriately for success. Working with clients in different industries allows Madge to interchange different ideas, views, structures, successes and failures with all her clients through that diversity.
Since the field of business management is so broad and each person‘s skill level varies, the needs of the client dictate the focus and time of their particular project.
Before becoming a coach, Madge spent time in sales and management in small and large corporations and running her own manufacturing rep firm. In these positions, her responsibilities included, but were not limited to: Human Resources, budgeting, sales training, cash flow management, marketing, building and growing a business, and managing employees. To fulfill her vision and the thirst to be of better service to people and businesses, her transition to consulting was strategically planned. In executing the plan, she found a successful business consultant who had trained other consultants. The relationship started with gathering all Madge’s business and life experiences together under the coaching umbrella and has developed into an ongoing mentorship.
As Madge continues to be coached in her own business, she gains a better perspective of the coaching relationship. This experience is “priceless”. All of her clients are either returning clients with new projects, clients referred by other clients, or business associates. Her client’s own experience speaks of her ongoing success. Edna Martin is a native New Yorker who started working for Western Electric (Manufacturing arm for AT&T) in New York in 1965 as an Account Analyst she relocated to New Jersey in 1970 continued to work for Western Electric until Western Electric and AT&T consolidated in 1984. Then in 1989 Edna relocated to Georgia from New Jersey with AT&T, and in 1996 she took an early retirement from AT&T. In 1997 she starting work for Creative Influence, Corporation as a Bookkeeper. Creative Influence is a small promotional products company with 2 employees and the owner. Edna has been working part time as a Bookkeeper / Assistant for Caldwell & Pate since 2001. Edna loves to travel and have traveled in the United States and abroad to such places as Europe, South Africa, China, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Egypt.
